Key Principles for 100 Days

1. The 80/20 Rule

  • 80% of marks come from 20% of topics - focus on frequently asked topics
  • Identify hot topics from previous years’ papers (appear 3+ times)
  • Don’t study every topic equally - prioritize high-weightage chapters

2. Consistent Beats Intense

  • Study daily (even 2 hours is better than 10 hours once a week)
  • Missing 1 day: Accept and get back on track (don’t quit)
  • Weekly mock tests: Never skip - they build exam temperament

3. Smart Practice

  • Previous years’ papers > new difficult problems (exam format familiarity)
  • Mock tests > reading textbooks (exam temperament, time management)
  • Previous errors > starting new topics (revision, not learning new)

4. Health & Balance

  • 7-8 hours sleep essential for memory consolidation
  • Physical activity (30 minutes daily) - reduces stress, improves focus
  • Hydration and healthy meals - brain function depends on nutrition
  • Stress management - breathing exercises, leisure time, hobby time

5. What to Avoid (100 Days)

  • Don’t start new topics after October (revision only)
  • Don’t compare your preparation with peers (everyone’s different)
  • Don’t cram night before (you’ll forget by morning; sleep is more important)
  • Don’t skip mock tests (they’re crucial for exam temperament)
  • Don’t study till midnight (sleep deprivation reduces recall by 40%+)

The 100-day strategy transforms preparation into performance. You’ve studied for 9 months - now it’s time to execute your plan, stay calm, and give your best shot on exam day.
